Be sure to pack the jacket for this one. Its gonna be one for the die hard campers. So come on and chill by the fire and enjoy the wonders of the Alabama winter wonder land! There will be the usual staples. Breakfast Burritos on Sat and Sun. Pot Luck on Saturday night. I was thinking of breaking out the big pot and let make some real pot luck stew. Every one bring something good to put in it. It can be canned corn, Potatoes, or whatever. Bring it I will spice it to perfetion and BAM! instant goodness! Of course there will be Bocce' and a fire music of some kind and lots of cool folks to chat with! So come on this Alabama Get-Away and lets have a Freeze Out!!
Directions:
In Centreville, AL, take US Rt. 82 west to State Rt. 5. Turn left onto Rt. 5 and go south 5.9 miles to State Rt. 25. Turn right onto Rt. 25 and go 16.2 miles to Payne Lake National Forest Recreation Area sign. Turn right and follow signs to campground. |
